Growing up with Alyssa means some of my favorite memories are the simplest ones. We spent so many summers camping at Gregouries Campground, riding our bikes all over, racing each other, and people-watching the different campers while we made up stories about them. When we were younger and grounded, we even figured out how to pass things between our windows using a rope from the first floor to the second floor—because clearly nothing was going to stop us from talking. And fun fact: Alyssa was actually the one who taught me how to drive before I was even old enough. By the time my parents started teaching me, they couldn’t believe how “good” I was… little did they know I’d already been secretly practicing with Alyssa for months. We finally told them almost ten years later. I’m so lucky to call Alyssa not only my sister but my best friend, and I couldn’t be happier to stand by her side on such a special day.

My favorite memory with Alyssa is our karaoke era going out with no plans and somehow ending up on stage like we were headlining a world tour. We didn’t just do karaoke… we hunted it down (she even kept a weekly list of places hosting karaoke). As “Mother Hen” and “Chick-a-Dee,” we fully committed, dramatic, loud, and convinced we were crushing it. Those chaotic nights are memories I’ll treasure forever.

My favorite memory of Alyssa and I isn’t one specific day or moment - it’s a collection of all the good times working at Southgate. Specifically turning one - person tasks into team efforts just so we could hang out, like me helping her uncork wine bottles so she could help me set up the salad bar, all just so we could chat and make work a little more fun (all the while everyone is making fun of the fact that we can’t do anything alone haha)

One of my favorite memories with Alyssa is from when I was younger and she used to babysit me. I would always look forward to sleeping over at her house with her and Ashley, playing board games and listening to music. Those nights were so much fun.

My favorite memory with my Mama and Dada would have to be spending my first birthday together at Great Wolf Lodge and having sooo much fun at the water park! I also love all the little moments we share, like spending quality time together on Target and Home Depot runs, and going to my swim and gymnastics classes. At home, I love dancing, playing, and making everyone laugh. I’m always on the move and love exploring new things! Some of my favorite things are snack time (especially sharing cheese it’s with Dada!) cuddles, and spending time with my Mama and Dada! They’re my favorite people ever. I’m looking forward to making even more fun memories, especially pool and beach days this summer, and I can’t wait to celebrate and dance the night away at the wedding!
