We are registered with honeyfund. This is a second chance at happiness for the both of us, and we didn't necessarily need appliances or any of the other common necessities. What we thought was needed more is a stress free honeymoon to reconnect after officially joining our families as one. Party of 8!
No. While we would ask that you are decent, we are not asking you to go spend hundreds on a new dress or suit. Business casual is completely fine.
The ceremony will begin at 6pm, and end at 10 pm. After that time, you don't have to go home, but you can't stay at the venue. You are more than welcome to show up around 5 pm to mingle, have a drink in your cup, and find a place to sit. The only assigned seating will be for the wedding party and family. The cliche of pick a seat, not a side.
There is free street parking in old towne Slidell.
We will have a limited amount of alcohol and beer at the reception. If there is something specific you would like, then you are welcome to bring it with you as this is also BYOB friendly. Please keep in mind that if you bring in glass containers, they must stay with the bartenders.
Smoked Chicken, Ham, sliders, chicken tenders, meatballs, chicken and sausage jambalaya, green beans, macaroni and cheese, and salad. Figured a good mixture for everyone to enjoy.
We went with a service called confetti.io. You can find information about it by going to https://www.confetti.io/ and towards the bottom of the page is a video explaining how it works. We would love to see max participation and see the wedding from our guests perspective.
This is a family event, so yes children are allowed. We do ask that you be responsible for your child(ren) if you do decide to bring them. While our commitment vows will be brief, we would like to be able to enjoy them without interruption.
I was recently asked this. Navy blue and purple(s). His and hers favorite colors.
