Of all the different places to meet someone, we matched on Facebook dating. The messages were brief, but we peaked each other's interest. We exchanged numbers a few days later, and set up to have our first "old school" phone call. That brief phone call lasted over 2 hours to which we knew we were interested. The next day on March 8, we went on our first date. It was a Wednesday night, so we could not do anything too crazy. The conversation flowed beautifully as if our souls were reconnecting. We have been hooked ever since. We knew at that point, we found someone incredible.
It was a rainy day and we went to go look at some shirts for the kids. He asked me to go look at an idea he had in Crosby Commons park for picture ideas in the future. After explaining his vision as far as a tripod set up, he pointed to the corner of the park and mentioned that the oaks over there have a good set up too if I want to look there. I turned to go look, and he said, "but first, there's this". I turned to see him on one knee, nervously trying to open the box. He said the kindest words that we will keep to ourselves, but I gladly said yes. Please join us in the celebration of our love, as we unite our blended family into one.
