Jeni and I met in a classic hallmark town just on the outskirts of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I had arranged for us to get sushi for lunch, and to my dismay, we arrived to a japanese restaurant surrounded by firetrucks and disheveled employees. Flustered, Jeni and I found an italian restarant nearby called Marzano's, and we continued on. Now, Jeni made it abundantly clear that she "had a very busy day" and "had to leave by 1pm". After hours of conversation filled with laughter, a stroll through the Jenkintown farmer's market, and an exchange of music on a park bench by the post office, the clock struck 4:30 and Jeni scurried off after promising we would meet again. Since our first date, Jeni and I have been blessed with moments of joy and moments of growth. We have learned to work together and communicate, especially when our plan A goes up in flames. Independently, we have realized that the story we write together is greater than the sum of its parts, and we cannot wait to get started with this next chapter.
