Question

What’s happening over the wedding weekend?

Answer

We’re so excited to have all of our favorite people in one place! Here’s the plan: Saturday, Sept 20 – Welcome Party Drop by the Golden Welcome Center from 5-8pm for food, drinks, and to say hi! Sunday, Sept 21 – The Wedding! Ceremony & reception at Boettcher Mansion. Ceremony starts at 5pm.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Dressy, but not stuffy! Think: A casual suit or dress shirt and tie (no tux needed) A dress (longer lengths are best for the mountain chill!) or dressy separates

Question

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

Your love and support are all we need, and we're so grateful for you! No gifts are expected, but if you’d like to send one, here is our registry: https://www.zola.com/registry/jeniandrobert2025

Question

How do I get to and from the wedding?

Answer

Getting an Uber back at night in the mountains can be tricky. You should be fine to Uber to the venue during the day, but after the wedding, a shuttle will take guests to downtown Golden, where Ubers are easy to find. If you’re renting a car or driving, there’s parking at the venue. Alcohol can hit harder in the mountains, so if you’d rather not drive back, you can take the shuttle and leave your car overnight – you’ll be able to pick it up the next day!

Question

What’s the weather like?

Answer

Golden in September is gorgeous but can be unpredictable! Expect sunny afternoons (70s) and cool mountain evenings (40s–50s). We suggest bringing a light jacket so you’re comfortable after sunset.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

It's a mix of both! The ceremony will be outside, and the reception will be both inside and outside. At any time, you can step inside if you need to, and vice versa!

Question

Will the altitude affect me?

Answer

Denver is a mile above sea level, and the wedding venue is 7,550 ft, which is higher than many guests are used to. You might notice you feel a little out of breath faster, get a headache, or that drinks hit harder than usual. We recommend: - Drinking plenty of water - Taking it easy with alcohol until you know how you feel - Wearing sunscreen

Question

When should I arrive in Denver?

Answer

We recommend arriving by Saturday afternoon if you’d like to join us for the Welcome Party that evening. The wedding itself is Sunday evening, so you could also arrive Sunday morning if needed. For the wedding party and immediate family, we recommend arriving by Friday afternoon.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We recommend staying in Golden or Denver. Check out the Travel tab for hotel recs and more info.

Question

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

We love your kiddos! Our wedding will be a mostly adults-only celebration. We totally understand that traveling can be tricky when you have children. If bringing your little one is the only way you’re able to join us, please reach out so we can work with you!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! When you RSVP, let us know your allergies or dietary needs. The caterer will prepare a personal meal just for you, no stress!
