Chelsea is the middle Silva sister (6 years younger than me), and she has always been one of my best friends. She and I are very similar in our love for baseball (go dodgers!), lack of sensitivity, and love of brunch, wine, the newsies, Zac Efron, and New Girl. Chelsea is one of the hardest working people I know. I have always respected her discipline and dedication to the things that are important to her. She has strong values and opinions and sticks to them. Chelsea has always been someone I can count on for anything; she’s always there for me and truly understands me. We also just have a ton of fun together! I love and respect her so much and am so honored to have her as my maid of honor.
Charissa Beardsley
Maid of Honor
Charissa has been a friend since middle school when our families joined the same homeschool group. We bonded over our dislike of "art" class & science fairs, and really any awkward homeschool event, but we remained friends because of our shared love of literature, deep talks about life, love, and faith, and being there for each other all the time, despite miles of separation. Charissa is one of the most compassionate, loyal, wise, and truly kind people I know. She also completely understands me and has always been the person I go to with anything that’s going on in my life, not only for understanding and compassion, but also for super good & wise advice. She’s also Seth’s sister! I’m so excited to finally be able to call her sister, and I am so honored she is my Maid of Honor!
Tara Silva
Bridesmaid
Tara is the youngest Silva sister (12 years younger than me), and is one of my favorite people in the whole world. She is so much fun to be around and has challenged me in so many ways. She loves people so well and truly enjoys life. She has helped our whole family become more physically affectionate with her cuddles, bear hugs, and “loving” punches. Tara’s favorite things include cuddling, making fun of my lack of Snapchat savvy, being perfect at everything, growing her arm muscles, and yelling. She’s hilarious, super smart, hard-working, and a genuinely good human. I love her a ton and am so honored to have her as my bridesmaid.
Katie Hoyle

Katie has been a good friend of mine and Seth’s since around high school when we were all in the same youth group. Katie is such a kind and loyal friend; she’s seriously there for you whenever you need anything and is one of the most selfless people I know. She’s not only one of the best people I know, she’s also one of the funniest. She never ceases to make me laugh out loud with her clever humor. Katie loves dinosaurs, Nic Cage, working with the youths, not playing nerdy games, concerts, and adventuring. Katie has such a heart for others and Jesus, and is someone I am honored to have in my life. I am also so pumped to have her as my bridesmaid!
Katie Cann
Bridesmaid
Katie and I first met in a Bible study about 5 or 6 years ago. Katie and I are very different in a lot of ways, and that’s one of the things I appreciate most about our friendship. She challenges me and makes me see things in a way I wouldn’t normally. She’s very thoughtful and kind, and always remembers to ask me about things that are going on in my life. Through the years, we’ve had some pretty fun adventures, including her 30th birthday in Vegas, Carmel, and wine tasting. We’ve also had some really great, deep conversations, especially during wine nights and walking along bear creek together. I love and value Katie so much and am so honored to have her as my bridesmaid!
Shiloh Beardsley

Shiloh has been my friend since we joined homeschool groups about 15 years ago and she’s Seth’s twin! Shiloh has been such a loyal and loving friend to me over the years; I appreciate her so much for her desire for deep relationships, truth, and thoughtfulness. She has such a servant’s heart, which is evident in her roles as mother, wife, sister, and friend. I love spending time with her—just catching up on life, or enjoying a glass of wine and playing nerd games. Fun fact: Shiloh’s daughters, Emsley and Finley, will be our flower girls! Also, fun fact: Seth and I walked down the aisle with each other in Shiloh and Austin’s wedding! I love and appreciate Shiloh so much and am excited to soon call her sister, and am so honored to have her as my bridesmaid :)
Stephen Haupt
Bestmen
Stephen and Seth grew up going to church together at CPC Merced, but they became best friends in college. They commuted to class together at CSU Stanislaus, helped at youth group, owned kids at dodgeball, dominated the dance floor, wore matching outfits, performed some embarrassing cover songs, and basically did everything together. Steve is the funniest guy I know, a loyal friend, and talented at whatever he does. He is notorious for breaking kids glasses in dodgeball, not helping Seth with homework, and being Jenessa's frenemy. Seth is notorious for stealing all of Steve's jokes. Steve and Seth used to have hearts to hearts about being single forever and never finding the right girl. Now they're both engaged to amazing women! Seth is honored to have Steve as one of his "bestmen".
Graeme Jones
Bestmen
Graeme is Seth's first friend that he made in Fremont. He basically introduced Seth to all of his Fremont friends and accepted him into the group of homies. They share a love basketball, dumb (cool) Hawaiian shirts, karaoke, throwback Giants players like Marvin Bernard, they both work with teenagers, and they make up the up and coming rap duo known as "Rapper Friends" (Mixtape dropping 2018). Graeme is notorious for arguing with Seth about sports (especially the Giants and Warriors), having a dead phone, falling asleep before 9pm, and for having the most friendly customer service voice. Graeme helped make Seth's time in Fremont much more fun, meaningful, and full of life. He holds a special place in Seth's heart and Seth is honored to have Graeme as one of his "bestmen".
Jeremy Land
Groomsman
Jerms is one of Seth's oldest friends. They grew up going to the same church, being in the same homeschool group and singing in youth choir together. They share a love for music, attending concerts, baseball, eating pie (as pictured), and talking smack about sports (Yankee's suck and go Dubs). Jerms is notorious for being a bandwagon fan and seeming much older than he is which has earned him the nickname "old man Land". He's also known for his signature basketball shot the "One-hand Land" and for being a great DJ, his stage name is DJGJ = DJ Grumpy Jerms. He's a little upset to not be the DJ of this wedding. Jerms and Seth have been through a lot together and have maintained a good relationship even while living in different cities. Seth is honored to have him as a groomsmen!
Geoff Neal
Groomsman
Geoffy is Seth's second friend that he made in Fremont, he was introduced by Graeme and they have been homies ever since. Geoff and Seth share a love of sports, going to Giants games, ministering to high schoolers at youth group, donut runs, Applebee's Happy Hour, weekly Chilis tradish, cheap movie Tuesdays and playing games. They also share a disdain for beer. Geoff is notorious for always wearing jorts, loving Christian screamo music and Katy Perry, hating brunch, hating Apple products and for loving New Balance tennis shoes. He is one of Seth's most loyal and generous friends and is always down to hang out when Seth needs a friend to vent to. Geoff has helped make fremont feel like home and Seth is honored to have him as a groomsmen.
Nathan Beardsley
Groomsman
Nate is the middle of the 5 Beardsley bros. They grew up playing sports together, volunteering at the same youth group, being a part of the same worship teams, and antagonizing each other. Although they didn't get along very well growing up, they have become closer as adults and Seth really appreciates Nate's friendship. They share a love for music, baseball/the Giants, drinking coffee (they worked at Starbucks together), Mario Soccer, Halo, board games and Blink 182. Nathan aka "Nasty Nate" is notorious for his grumpy, eyes closed face, hating Apple products, buying way too many guitar pedals, and having a very loud voice. Nate is also engaged and is marrying his awesome fiancé Evelyn in March. Seth is honored to have Nathan as one of his groomsmen.
Chaim Beardsley
Groomsman
Chaim is the 2nd youngest Beardsley bro. Seth and Chaim grew up competing against each other at everything, baseball, chess, basketball, hockey, you name it. Chaim and his friends were students at youth group when Seth was a leader, which was real fun. They share a love for baseball/the Giants, basketball/the Warriors, board games, hip-hop, free-style rapping, stand-up comedy, and joking around. Chaim is notorious for antagonizing everyone, being very competitive, sleeping in real late (same), eating cereal all the time, and stealing his siblings food and clothes. He is the best Applebee's server of all time and is way better at math than Seth. He is one of the funniest guys you'll ever meet, has a kind heart, and is super ripped. Seth is honored to have Chaim as one of his groomsmen.
Noah Beardsley
Groomsman
Noah is the youngest Beardsley bro. He is 8 years younger than Seth, but since Seth lived at home until he was 24 they were able to be around each other a lot growing up. Seth and Noah share a love for baseball/the Giants, basketball, Spikeball, looking in the mirror, ministering to junior high students, and reading the Bible. Noah is notorious for being a clean freak, taking a lot of showers, laughing loudly, and staying up late playing League of Legends. He has the best sense of direction of all the Beardsley's, is a decent cook, volunteers at multiple youth groups, has a kind heart and has a keen sense for making others laugh without even trying. Noah is an awesome little brother and Seth is honored to have him as one of his groomsmen.
Tristan Beardsley
Ring Bearer
Tristan is the oldest Beardsley nephew and a future major league baseball player (probably). He's already hit more career home runs than Seth and might be just as competitive. He's also super smart, kind, and a great big brother. He's a big fan of the Giants, board games, sports, and playing outside. He's notorious for beating his aunts and uncles at Quirkle.
Nolan Beardsley
Ring Bearer
Nolan is the second oldest Nephew. He is Seth's godson and namesake. He is the funniest little dude you'll ever meet and loves making funny faces. He's not very excited to have a Dodgers fan joining the family, but he's processing it. He's also not a big fan of weddings due to the kissing, but he's making a special exception in this case (we hope). He likes to pretend like he doesn't like Jenessa, but we think it's just a game/joke (hopefully). He takes after Seth in that he hates cheese, Seth couldn't be prouder. He also loves the Giants, Hunter Pence, reading, and his dog Mae.
Jude Beardsley
Ring Bearer
Jude is the youngest Beardsley nephew. He's the sweetest little boy you will ever meet. He likes Jenessa much more than Nolan and doesn't seem to be as opposed to the wedding. He loves hanging with his siblings, playing with legos, eating Starbucks pastries, cheese (gross), and being a goofball. He's notorious for leaving the room if someone farts.
Selah Beardsley
Flower Girl
Selah is the oldest niece. She loves the color pink, playing with whoever will play with her, singing, joking around, and washing her hands. She's notorious for convincing her uncles and aunts to play with her for an extended period of time. She is also a big fan of ballet and dancing. She doesn't seem to mind attention, so we think she'll enjoy the spotlight of being a flower girl.
Emsley Mininger
Flower Girl
Emsley is the oldest Mininger niece. She is a thoughtful, cute, and funny little girl. She loves ballet and wants to be just like her aunty Amity. We're not sure if she remembers uncle Seth and aunty Jenessa's names, but she's working on it. Emsley is notorious for ignoring her aunts and uncles when they ask her annoying questions and for choosing who she wants to play with her. She's also known to say quite clever things in her cute little voice. She didn't do so well at the last wedding she was in, but we're hoping she's learned from that experience.
Finley Mininger
Flower Girl
Finley is the youngest Mininger niece. She loves grabbing things and eating whatever she can get her hands on. She's also not a big fan of being too far away from her mom. She likes to mess with whatever her older sister is playing with, much to Emsley's dismay. We'll see if she's a fan of weddings or not...
Logan Beardsley
Officiant
Logs is the oldest Beardsley bro. Seth always looked up to him a lot growing up and wanted to be just like his big bro. Logs was the best big bro and always included Seth in whatever he did. They share a love for the Giants/baseball, Fantasy football, board games, church ministry, adult beverages, Bordeaux's, and of course the Gospel. Logs is notorious for pushing people's buttons, being a prankster, convincing others to do things for him, and winning at board games. He is the Senior Pastor at Cornerstone Chowchilla and is the best pastor I know. Him and his wife Brianna have 4 kids, soon to be 5, when they adopt their daughter from China. If Logs wasn't officiating our wedding he would have been one of my groomsmen. We are honored to have him marry us and wouldn't have it any other way.
