FAQs

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We LOVE your kids and happily welcome them to join us for our ceremony. The reception however is intended for adults only, so we ask that you make other arrangements for them during that time. (We think you deserve a night off to have fun celebrating with us anyway!)

Question

What's the best way to get to and from the venue?

Answer

BEST OPTION: For guests staying at Aloft Tampa, there will be a complimentary shuttle bus. The shuttle can fit 57 guests and will only make one trip each way. It will be leaving the hotel promptly at 4:15 PM to go to the venue; after the reception is over, the bus will leave the venue at 11:15 PM to take guests back to the hotel. Please note: there is only one shuttle and it is first-come, first-served. SECOND-BEST OPTION: Uber/Lyft. The hotel is only a 5 minute drive from the venue so it won't be an expensive ride :) THIRD OPTION: There is limited parking at the venue, so we encourage carpooling if you must drive. Parking is located at 1635 N Tampa St. which is on the corner of Estelle and N Franklin St. (attached to a gray building that houses a law firm and “Explosive Performance”)

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes! If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

First off, everything is inside so you won't need to worry about the elements. The dress code for our wedding is "cocktail attire." This means cocktail dresses or dressy pantsuits, and a suit and tie or sports coat. No jeans please. At the same time, we want you to feel comfortable... so if those heels are too high, feel free to wear flats or nice sandals (no flip flops please). If that top button is too tight, then let it hang loose.

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be taking place indoors at one location.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The doors will open to guests at 4:15 PM, so we request guests do not arrive prior to that to allow for ample set-up time. Having our guests already seated when the ceremony starts at 5:00 PM is requested.

Question

When can I take pictures? And can I post pictures on social media?

Answer

We are doing an "unplugged" ceremony, meaning that we request everyone keep cell phones and cameras out of sight during the ceremony... Once that part is done, feel free to take and post pictures! Share your photos using our wedding hashtag: #MakingNayRad

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please RSVP by 9/16/2019 via this website. We are exclusively doing an online RSVP so nothing needs to be physically mailed back to us.

Question

Where are you registered? Can I deviate from the registry?

Answer

We are registered on Amazon.com (see the registry tab on this website). We will also have a card box set up upon entrance to the venue for monetary gifts which we will happily put towards our honeymoon and furnishing our new house!

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

Leading up to the wedding weekend, the couple can be contacted via email at mattlovesnay@gmail.com for questions. You can also text the groom at (941) 243-6237 or the bride at (941) 928-1509. Kindly refrain from contacting the bride or groom during the wedding weekend; questions at that point can be directed towards the bridal party or family.
