Flying into Cancun

Guests must fly into Cancun to get to Isla Mujeres. Check your passports and make sure they are up to date :) Airlines can refuse to let you board if your passport expires within six months. Things to know about booking for Isla Mujeres: 1- Do not book a flight that lands to the Cancun Airport after 8:15 PM (the last ferry to the island is at 11:00 PM) 2- Do not book a flight that departs the Cancun airport before 10:00 AM. (The first ferry from the island in the morning is 6:00 AM, with a 6:20 AM pick up, you will arrive at the airport by approximately 7:30 AM.) Once you arrive, you'll need to a ride to the ferry dock. We made it easy for you to book all transportation! See below.

Your location will auto-fill as: Gran Puerto Juarez Ultramar Ferry Dock: this is the dock to Isla Mujeres - Please book a round trip car service from the airport to the ferry. They will ask for your flight info and will be at the Cancun airport with a sign with your name. - Add a round trip ferry ticket to your check out to avoid lines at the dock. It is the same cost through CARM as it is at the ticketing office. - Transportation on the island is not included as private transportation companies are not allowed to operate on Isla Mujeres. If you require a taxi to your hotel on arrival, the taxi stand is to the left of the ferry terminal. And your departure confirmation voucher will tell you what time you must board the ferry leaving Isla Mujeres and what time we will be picking you up at the Gran Puerto Juarez Ultramar Ferry Dock in Cancun.

The Ferry to Isla Mujeres

You're almost here! Isla Mujeres is only a 20 minute ferry ride from Cancun. Hop on the ferry and enjoy the views! The ferry departs every 30 minutes. Use the link below to see the ferry schedule. Once you arrive in Isla, there are plenty of taxis available to take you to your accommodations. FERRY TICKETS: It's a good idea to purchase your tickets in advance to avoid the lines. You can purchase tickets directly or through our preferred airport transfer, CARM. *Leaving from Puerto Juarez (Gran Puerto Juarez Ultramar Ferry Dock) is best as it runs most often and is most convenient.

Getting Around & Golf Carts

Golf carts are the way to go when staying in Isla (did we mention fun?) Taxis are also available on the island and are abundant and cheap. GOLF CART RECOMMENDATIONS: There are several places that you can rent from that will cost approximately $60-$70 per day. Some will require you to leave a driver license for the deposit. Helpful hint... bring an old license if you still have one lying around. :) Some rental companies allow you to book in advance if you prefer. Suggested Rental Companies: Coco's Golf Cart - WhatsApp Gaby +52-998-215-5085 - Coco's is across the street from Coco's Beach Bar at the light house downtown. They are open 9AM-5PM. Joaquin Golf Carts - Whatsapp +52-999-900-0808 - Joaquin is located one block south of the ferry dock. They are open 9AM-9PM. You can use Google Translate to communicate as they both speak Spanish only and also use Google Translate.
