Let's Celebrate

During a weekly coffee date with mutual friends, Jen caught Patrick's eye. He came prepared with new horse questions each week to capture Jen's attention. Horse Facts quickly became a highlight of the week. With home-baked cookies in hand, he finally asked her out for coffee, and she responded with "I'm really busy." Undefeated, they were finally able to go on their first date a month later at Sideboard Coffee on December 2, 2019. And the rest is history!

Always finding time to adventure, Jen and Patrick booked a trip to Joshua Tree National Park. They found a cute AirBnB with a glass geodome overlooking acres of desert. Two days before they were supposed to leave, the reservation was cancelled. They put their heads together and found a new AirBnb - a quaint studio cottage right on the border of the National Park. Under the guise of taking photos at sunset, Patrick and Jen got dressed and ready for dinner early. While Jen was putting herself together, Patrick scattered rose petals from the door leading to an overlook of the valley below. Once she was ready, Jen exited the cottage to see Patrick standing there with rose petals at his feet. Neither are sure of what was said, but they're pretty sure Patrick got down on one knee and asked Jen to marry him.
