King of Prussia Mall
King of Prussia Mall is the fourth-largest mall in the United States, with over 450 stores and a vast selection of dining and entertainment options. Depending on the route you take, it's 10-15 miles from the venue.
Forbidden Drive Trail (Wissahickon Valley Park)
This is the trail where we took our engagement photos. The trailhead is about 9 miles from the venue. We access the trail at the Northwestern Avenue entrance (address above), which is situated about 1000 feet from the intersection of Germantown Pike and W Northwestern Avenue. There is ample parking along W Northwestern Avenue. Valley Green Inn is approximately 2.5 miles from the Northwestern Avenue entrance, so it would be about a 5-mile roundtrip. You can also access Valley Green Inn by car.
P.J. Whelihan's Pub + Restaurant - Blue Bell
Fun sports bar right down the road from the venue on DeKalb Pike (Route 202). This is a great spot to watch the March Madness games!
Harry's Blue Bell Taproom
We went here on our first date (back when it used to be located in Blue Bell). They've since relocated to downtown Ambler, which is an awesome little town with lots of shops and restaurants. If you're into craft beer, you’ve got to check this place out!
Cantina Feliz
This is a fun Mexican restaurant in downtown Ambler. Their Tres Chili Margarita is amazing!
Backyard Beans Coffee Company - Ambler
This is a great coffee spot in downtown Ambler with a yummy selection of breakfast foods and pastries. Their cold brew is excellent!
Philadelphia Sightseeing Tours
Philadelphia is approximately 20-25 miles from the venue. If you have the time, experience the rich history and culture of the city on a hop-on, hop-off double-decker bus tour. You'll get to visit 26 stops over the course of the 90-minute tour.
