Airport Code: PAE An alternative to SeaTac for Alaska and United flights. PAE is in Everett (closer to Lynnwood) and avoids the need to go through busier SeaTac airport and drive through downtown Seattle.

Travel Note

Sound Transit (public transportation)

If you're wanting to go to Seattle, we highly recommend taking public transportation, even if you have a rental car. Driving downtown can be stressful, and parking lots can get expensive. If you're staying at the two Lynnwood hotels, walk on over to the Lynnwood Transit Center and hop on the 512 bus at Bay D3, which typically runs every 10-15 minutes. It will make just a few stops on the freeway, but you'll be in the downtown area in just 20-30 minutes (heavily dependent on traffic, of course). On the way back home, the bus automatically stops at the Lynnwood Transit Center, so you don't need to worry about when to request a stop. Check out the website for schedules and fare information.
