If you've never been to Philadelphia, we recommend stopping by to see where it all began. Jen loves boasting that Philadelphia is the birthplace of our nation, and she couldn't be prouder of this little city. Even if you only have a moment to stop by, it's displayed behind a giant glass wall, visible day or night!
Come lay in a hammock or sip some beer in their floating beer garden. This park along the Delaware is one of our most favorite spots!
For a short time during his life, Poe lived here, at this very location. Take a tour and learn a lot of fascinating things about this poet and form your own conclusions about the mystery of his death.
Jen spent nearly a decade of her life at this massive historic building for their Halloween event: Terror Behind The Walls. Come discover why this building is so fascinating.
DELICIOUS vegan food!!! This not-to-be-missed spot is one of our favorite lunch places in the city. Grab some to-go food and head to Rittenhouse Square for a lovely picnic in the park. Jen recommends the crispy chicken and the chocolate milk shake; Jamie's favorite thing on the menu is the portobello burger and the sweet potato fries!
Personally my favorite coffee shop in the whole city. And they now have multiple locations. Pro tip - they only serve almond milk at this location, but the one on Wood St (near 13th and Callowhill) has Oat Milk as well!
Every single time we are in town we stop here (with one of jen's favorite friends) for lunch. The veggie sausage is like no other veggie sausage.
