Cute beach town with high end restaurants and shopping, a nice public beach, and Taylor Swift's house!

Watch Hill

Historic beach town with surf suitable for beginners, clam shacks, ice cream, and more!

Narragansett

The best coffee shop in RI, maybe the world. Great coffee and muffins, in an old colonial house attached to Galapagos boutique.

Dave's Coffee

Our favorite brewery, located in an old victorian house! Our summer is fueled by their "Flying Jenny" pale ale.

Grey Sail Brewing

Charlestown's local watering hole! Classic pub with good food at reasonable prices. We're here a lot.

The Haversham

Rhode Island has no shortage of clam shacks where you'll find classics like fish and chips and "Stuffies" the local specialty. Aunt Carrie's is our favorite.

One of our favorite restaurants in the area, on the water, for a nice seafood dinner!

Nice hotel with great views - a good place to sit outside & get a cocktail.

Ocean House

RI's best surf shop! The place to go if you need beach gear.

Warm Winds

Outdoor garden center with tons of plant displays, produce for sale, and a great gift shop.

The Farmer's Daughter

A good place for a burger and beers, with picnic tables on a nice lawn, and a stage for local bands!

The Charlestown Rathskeller

Another awesome local brewery, located in an old factory space with pool tables and other games.

Whalers Brewing Company

Newport is the main tourist destination in Rhode Island. 40 min. away from Charlestown, with lots to do including a cliff walk, mansions tours, shopping, restaurants, and the International Tennis Hall of Fame!
