Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Jen Adams and Giancarlo Mariutto
One of the things we're most excited about BESIDES EACH OTHER AND GROWING OLD YES RIGHT is to share Lake George with everyone! We very, very much want people to go out and explore and then come back and tell us about it - feel free to skip any festivity, or come late/leave early. Some suggestions of what we do on our annual trips.
Lazy River Tubing

Lazy River Tubing

877 Lake Avenue, Lake Luzerne, NY 12846

Just a 12 minute drive from the village - very low rapids, truly just floating down the gorgeous river, sipping a drink. Try not to get shot by native savages along the shoreline.

The Kemp Animal Sanctuary

The Kemp Animal Sanctuary

484 South Johnsburg Road, Warrensburg, NY 12885

This is our always our first stop - an animal sanctuary run by two perfect old lesbians who take in any animal too special for words. Open every day, you just wander the grounds with bags of feed and make furry friends. The above photo is Foonzie, the mentally disabled llama who has stolen GC's heart.

Retro Arcades

Retro Arcades

127 Canada Street, Lake George, NY 12845

There are three of these along Canada St. (Fun World and Playland are the best), and no less than 1/3rd of our vacations are spent within. New games, seaside classics, and tickets galore. If you've never seen a bride ABSOLUTELY DOMINATE a coin pusher on her wedding day, well, you're gonna.

Lake George Mystery Spot

Lake George Mystery Spot

1 Beach Road, Lake George, NY 12845

Do it. We promised it we would feed it.

Mini Golf

Mini Golf

58 Beach Road, Lake George, NY 12845

If mini golf courses were STDs, then Lake George would be John McCool. There are tons of courses in the area, but we particularly like the two in town at Around the World (US states and International - see photo) and Goony Golf, just a few minutes up the road.

Hiking

Hiking

This is the base of the Adirondacks, baby! Strap on that backpack and grab one of those long sticks and walk upwards! (I don't hike a lot) But seriously - tons of the state's best trails start minutes from the village, so do whatever it is hikers do to plan a hike.

Google "Lake George Things to Do"

There are a ton of options nearby if you have a car - Six Flags Great Adventure, shopping outlets, fishing, Go Karts, ropes courses, Revolution Rail. Just Google it.
