Duff's Famous Wings
While Buffalo Wings were invented at the Anchor Bar, both Jen and Dan prefer Duff's Wings! Try them both and see for yourself!
Anchor Bar
Anchor Bar is the home of the original chicken wing. Invented on a Friday night in 1964, they quickly became incredibly popular! There are a few locations- the Williamsville location isn’t the original but it is the closest!
The Original Pancake House
Jen LOVES their giant apple pancake. They are also known for their Dutch Baby. Great for breakfast or brunch!
Griffon Gastropub
Jen and Dan often eat here on their trips to Buffalo. They have great sweet corn fritters and fun wild game burgers.

Pub food and an in house brewery. Jen once was part of their "mug club".

Wegmans
Yes. This is a grocery store. But it is one that inspires a cult following. This is the one near Jen's childhood home, and features great and fast lunch food (pizza, subs, sushi, etc) and a second story balcony that is great for people watching while you eat.
Niagara Falls
While you're in Buffalo, you have to take a trip to the Falls! There are many great walking and hiking trails, as well as more adventurous ways to get up close! The Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds are personal favorites! The view from the Canadian side is even better - but requires a passport!
Maid of the Mist Boat Tour
We highly recommend a trip to Niagara Falls and a ride on the Maid of the Mist! It is a great way to see the falls up close!
Niagara Speedway
We haven’t actually been there yet, but who isn’t excited about a Mario kart style track? **if you plan to go to this attraction, you will need a passport**
Butterfly Conservatory
This is an awesome way to get up close and personal with a large variety of butterflies! This is on the Canadian side of the border, so will require a passport.
Buffalo Naval Park
Daniel and Jen had a wonderful date walking around here on their first trip to Buffalo together! You can walk along the water front looking at the awesome ships or tour them for a small fee. As a bonus- there are lots of pokestops!
Lockport Caves
So we’ve never actually been, but it has been recommended to us a few times! It is close to the wedding venue and hotels, and looks pretty cool!
Becker Farms | Vizcarra Vineyards & Becker Brewing Co.
Pick apples, see animals, enjoy the vineyard or the brews. Jen has been on many field trips, family outings, and one fantastic wedding at this farm.
Niagara Wine Trail & Niagara Landing Wine Cellars
There are a variety of wineries available to visit, and a variety of companies off transportation between them (book in advance).
Albright-Knox Art Gallery

Frank Lloyd Wright's Martin House Complex
Visit Frank Lloyd Wright’s six-structure Darwin Martin House complex located in the historic Parkside neighborhood of Buffalo, NY. A variety of tours are offered year-round. Reservations are strongly recommended. (To visit the interior of the house you must be on a guided tour.)
