Please RSVP as soon as you are certain, but definitely by August 1, 2019.
Yes! Please see the "travel" page for more info. Please book your rooms ASAP- room blocks will only be reserved until July 31st!
The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30pm, so please arrive a few minutes early to find your seats. At 6 pm, the entire wedding will board onto boats for a one hour cruise on the Erie Canal.
We will be arranging a bus between the hotel and the venue. Please let us know on your RSVP if this is something you would likely use. We do recommend a car to get around the Buffalo area and to do any sightseeing.
We’re so excited to have everyone together to celebrate, and invite you to be fully present during our ceremony. We’ve hired two photographers and a videographer to capture images of everyone at the wedding. We’d love pictures of people, not of their cell phones/cameras. For this reason, we request no camera or cell phone use during the ceremony. Worry not! You are free to use your camera as much as you want after the ceremony. There will be plenty of time to snap pictures of friends, family, and the bride and groom on the Erie Canal Cruise and Cocktail Hour and the reception following. If you are interested in ceremony photos, please contact us after our honeymoon and we will share some with you.
Uber: Uber and Lyft are now operating in Buffalo! Cabs: Buffalo Taxi, 716-809-8001; Queen City Taxi, 716-874-5050 Rental Cars: Highly recommended for travel around the area. Shuttle service will be provided between the Lockport Inn and Suites, Best Western Plus Lockport Hotel, and Hampton Inn Lockport, and the wedding ceremony and reception.
Many friends and family have asked for gift suggestions. Your love, laughter, and company on our wedding day is the greatest gift of all. However, should you wish to help us celebrate with a gift, we are registered at Zola, Target, and at Amazon.com.
Buffalo, NY is only a quick drive away from Niagara Falls. There are many wonderful views and things to see on the American side, but a wide variety of attractions and views are also available on the Canadian side of the border. If you have down time during your trip, you may want to take a quick visit!
After many discussions together and with our friends and family, we’ve decided to keep our names. Our official titles will stay Mr. Daniel Pereira and Dr. Jennifer Diakun.
