We're getting married!

We began our story together on the third night of college at Elon University back in August 2010. We initially connected at a freshmen orientation session through mutual friends and got to know each other throughout the first semester at Elon. Some might even call it happenstance. It didn’t take long for us both to realize that this relationship was going to be something great, and we have loved sharing so many memories together the past 7 years!

This is where the fun begins. Connor had the perfect ring and now had to concoct the perfect proposal. Connor wanted a plan that combined all things Jen loved most: outdoors and nostalgia. He also knew he wanted to do the proposal in Durham because it was where they began their lives together and held a lot of significance. Despite Jen almost (unknowingly) messing up the plans a few times that day, Connor convinced her he was busy with other plans before she became too suspicious. With the help of one of her best friends, Connor got Jen to Duke Botanical Gardens to eventually end up where he was waiting. When she turned the corner, Jen saw countless photos from their time together strung along a path leading to Connor waiting with flowers. The day was perfect and we had so much fun celebrating at a local brewery and with dinner that night!
