Matron of Honor
Jen and Rayna met in college, but really became besties over slices of Buttercup cake as they navigated NYC - and beyond - together. PS: this photo of them, a Jen and Rayna classic, could be frequently found on their early dating profiles before finally landing their perfect matches!
Best Man/Officiant
Alex and Ryan weren't best friends at UConn. Some would say Alex merely tolerated Ryan during their four-year tenure... Their paths crossed again later in NYC, and through Ryan's sheer will, the duo crafted a unique and inseparable bond. The two former hallmates evolved into best friends that helped each other navigate the trials and tribulations of adulthood, one beer (and a shot) at a time.
Bridesmaid
Bonnie is Jen’s oldest friend. They met in kindergarten and their hours long phone calls growing up were practically the sole reason for the Gross’s second phone line. These days you can find Bonnie on Jen and Alex’s couch, chatting about everything and nothing, usually until 1am.
Best Man
Zach is Alex's oldest friend and trusted lifelong confidant. From grade school through UConn, the two were always there for eachother when called upon ... besides when Zach would ask Alex to help with manual labor around the family farm. Alex always measured himself against Zach in school, hoping to get the better test score or essay grade. Somehow, even when Zach cheated off Alex, or Alex did ALL the work on a group project, Zach would end up with the better grade. Alex isn’t still bitter about that at all...
Bridesmaid
Rachael is Jen’s sister in law, but really we are still trying to figure out how Christopher snagged such a good one. When she’s not finding ways to make the cutest little toddler giggle, she’s probably answering Jen’s texts about needing her discount for yet another Anthropologie purchase.
Groomsman
Chris is Jen’s older brother. We still aren’t sure who knows more about Star Wars… or Marvel… or 90s WWE… but we are sure he’s jealous of Alex’s lightsaber (duh.) *Movie Enthusiast, meet Nerd.* In any case, Alex has gleefully signed up to be Chris’s homemade hot sauce guinea pig for-ev-er.
Bridesmaid
Jen met “Girl Alex” (as she was affectionately distinguished when Jen and “Boy Alex” started dating) in second grade because their brothers were friends. At some point in their 20s, both single, they took the usual Plan B pact up a notch - instead of “if we’re still single when we’re 40 let’s move in and grow old as best friends together,” they said “no man treats us as good as we treat each other, THIS should be the goal!” And so, they became each other’s Plan A. (Alex and Anthony better watch out!)
Groomsman
If you read their texts back and forth, you'd think Alex and Jim despise one another. Their daily (more like hourly...) bickering is just a sign of how strong their friendship truly is. After all, Alex convinced Jim to move to Brooklyn with him, something Alex is unsure Jim's entire family ever forgave him for...

Jen and Jen became little blonde best friends in middle school. After high school twin day, about 50 VHS rentals of Cruel Intentions, and too many shared pints of Ben & Jerry’s to count, their friendship was locked in for good. These days you can find them in a digital queue for Taylor Swift’s next tour… whenever that is.
Groomsman
Jeff is good at everything. It's infuriating. Picks up a new game? He's going to beat everyone else. Tries to talk his way out of a ticket? Consider it done. Being an incredible friend and father? No one does it better.
Bridesman
Andrew and Jen met in college, when he upgraded her from Two Buck Chuck to more elevated wines. They spent at least one night a weekend together eating yummy foods, drinking yummy wine, and burning through his endless movie collection. Jen likes to think all their time together trying new foods helped him hone the refined palette he employs today as a successful food influencer.
Groomsman
Alex thought all he ever wanted was to be an only child, and after living with Drew for 3 months when he and Jen first moved in together, he was even more sure of that fact. To Drew’s credit, a 9 year age gap regularly meant Alex was reminded that he can no longer drink like a 26 year old.
Bridesmaid
Madi and Jen met when they both opted out of the GW Honors housing, as to not end up living exclusively with nerds, and ended up as roommates… in the all girls dorm… on the satellite campus. What doesn’t kill you makes you[r friendship] stronger, am I right?
Groomsman
Conor magically tolerated living with only-child Alex for 3 years in college. Alex's parents wondered how someone could continuously deal with Alex's quirks ... and then they met Conor. One of the kindest, most gregarious souls you'll ever meet. Alex credits Conor for teaching him to break out of his introverted shell and actually enjoy the finer things in life, like warm tequila and annoying the hell out of Jim.
Best Boy
What’s to be said about this little fluffy guy that has made our lives endlessly better? Yes, he might steal the show from the bride on the wedding day, that’s to be expected. You will most definitely see him on site, but whether or not he has enough chill to hang with Mom and Dad during the ceremony is still yet to be seen…
