Can I bring my kids?

We love your kids, but we want you to have a parents' getaway! All the events for our wedding weekend are adults only.

But what will I wear?!
Answer
Weather the Catskills in August is much cooler and less humid than what most of you are used to; evenings can cool down into the 60s so you may want to pack a light sweater or wrap. Friday Night's Welcome Party will be Dress Casual: shorts or pants, collared shirts, and closed toe shoes for the men; summer sundresses, skirts, or a fun set for the ladies. Saturday Wedding Ceremony and Reception will be Summer Cocktail: suits, ties, and dress shoes for the men; cocktail dresses or maxi dresses for the ladies. Feel free to have fun with it! Jen loves a good bright color or print so you'll be in good company. Note: the ceremony is on a grass lawn so ladies may want to opt for a chunkier heel to avoid sinking in. Farewell Brunch: Come as you are! Last night's pajamas, your comfy travel home outfit... however you come is fine by us.

Where should I stay?
Answer
Please reference the "Travel" section of the website for information on lodging for the weekend. There is a 2 night minimum at the hotels where our room blocks are reserved; we’d love for you to share the whole weekend with us, and we’ve included all guests of the wedding in all the weekend’s events. However, if you’re unable to getaway for two nights there are other local accommodations.

All wedding events for the weekend will be held at The Inn at West Settlement, 1117 Andrew Gray Road, Roxbury, NY 12474.

Will transportation be provided for the weekend?
Answer
Shuttle Pickup is as follows: 3:00pm Colonial Motel 3:00pm - The Mahoney Family Airbnb (shuttle departing 3:02pm) 3:10pm - The Carras Family Airbnb (shuttle departing 3:12pm) 3:15pm - The Roxbury Motel (shuttle departing 3:20pm) 3:30pm - The Roxbury Stratton Falls (shuttle departing 3:35pm) *Anyone driving themselves, please plan to arrive by 3:45pm for a prompt 4:00 ceremony start. There is parking on property.* This is a rural area and there are not Ubers available. Please plan responsibly and accordingly if you plan to get boozy with the bride and groom and aren't staying at the hotel.

Will weather impact any parts of the weekend?
Answer
*Knock on wood* the weather will be beautiful and we will be able to utilize the gorgeous grounds at the venue for each part of the wedding weekend. The Barn can accommodate all of our events if something goes awry. Late August in the Catskills should be warm and temperate in the mountains (not too hot or humid!), and cools off nicely at night.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
If your formal invitation states "and Guest" we've accounted for you to bring a date. When you RSVP online you'll be able to select the number of guests attending, as accounted for with your invitation.
