Jena was on vacation visiting her family and friends in Central Phoenix when Justine (one of Jena's best friends) suggested Jena turn on her Bumble profile. Jena handed the phone to Justine and she sparked the magic! BOOM! It was a match. They met each other at The Little Woody. From that point on they were communicating frequently and became very close. Although they lived miles apart, distance had no match to them building their relationship, of course with Sky, too! Their remote work environment made it possible to visit each other often and thoroughly enjoy getting to know each other more in the cities of Albuquerque and Phoenix. They met each other's families and friends. They went on many dates, outings, concerts, and traveled to new places they had never been! Danny and Jena shared their love for one another as every moment felt more like they had found the one. Danny moved to Albuquerque and then Jena, Sky, and Danny moved to Phoenix. They found their home with A.J. and Becca and Sky found her home with Smokey and Yogi! They enjoyed building their relationship further, stepping up in their careers, gaining further education, and traveling with family and friends. On July 4th, 2023 Danny proposed in Kauai, Hawaii in front of family and fireworks! Their commitment to love one another, marry one another, and laugh no matter what has brought them to their much anticipated wedding day.
