What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the ceremony site by 4:30 p.m. Brookside Gardens is a public botanical gardens. We encourage you to arrive early and explore them! The ceremony will be in the Yew Garden and the following cocktail hour will be in the Fragrance Garden. We will have ushers as well as signs to assist you in getting to the site from the Visitor's Center. Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, if indicated on the invitation. Please contact us if you need a high chair or anything else for your little one.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we have a block of rooms at Canopy by Hilton in North Bethesda. Please see the accommodations tab.

I have a food allergy or dietary restriction, can I make a special request?

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is available at the Visitor's Center at Brookside Gardens at 1800 Glen Allen Dr., Wheaton, MD. There will be reserved parking in the center aisle.

Attire?

Answer

Yes, please. Semi-Formal attire, if possible. Tuxes and gowns are also welcome, as are suits and cocktail dresses. Weather permitting, this will be an all outdoor event, and everyone should wear shoes they are comfortable wearing on grass.
