You’ll definitely want to experience authentic Italian cuisine while you're here! Here's where to eat: *Osteria da Fortunata - known for its staff making fresh pasta in the window for customers to see. They serve traditional, handmade Roman pasta dishes and have a charming, authentic atmosphere, though some reviews note it can be crowded due to its popularity. Joe had cacio e pepe here and can't recommend it enough. *Mariuccia - Now this is Jelena's favorite place - pizza with mortadella, burrata and pistachio is a MUST. *Trattoria Del Cavalier Gino - staff spoke almost no English, if you want to experience real Roman restaurant scene where locals go, this is the one. Artichoke salad was delicious. *All'Antico Vinaio - the sandwiches here are to die for. The line can be long, but moves fast. Definitely worth the wait! *Last but not the least - 🍋THE LEMON STORE🍋 - Limone (Limon’è) – A Zesty Treat in Rome - If you want a little sunshine for your taste buds, make sure to stop by Limon’è in Rome — a magical little gem where lemon takes center stage. Best time to visit: After a big Roman lunch or while strolling between landmarks — a lemony sorbet or gelato is the perfect refreshment.
