The property where we will be staying is a villa that has 8 rooms in the villa itself and 3 in the additional property. The rooms will be assigned when you get there. Each room comes with ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower, TV, AC, safe, hair dryer and straightener. The villa comes with a professional kitchen where you can prepare your own meals. There is a large pool and patio area that will be available for use every day outside of the wedding day. There are parking spots by the villa as well on the street.
We can check in Sunday May 3rd 4pm-8pm. Check out is Thursday May 7th by 11am.
We recommend flying into either of Rome's airports. The villa is 50min drive from Leonardo Da Vinci International Airport and 1h 5mins from Giovan Battista Pastine International Airport. The address of the villa is Via del Mattiolo, 3, 00066 Manziana RM, Italy. There is parking on site. Train station is 10min walk or 5min drive. If you intent to drive, you will need an international driver’s license. This can be obtained via AAA. https://www.aaa.com/vacation/idpf.html
The ceremony will be on site on Tuesday May 5th at 4:30pm. We will follow up with a full Italian style dinner as well as dancing later in the evening.
There are a few restaurants and smaller grocery stores within walking distance from the villa (5min walk). We will organize a welcome dinner the day before the wedding with pizza, breakfast and dinner on wedding day and if there is interest we can see to organize breakfast/brunch the day following the wedding day.
While we have a welcome dinner on Monday May 4th and the wedding on Tuesday May 5th, the rest of the days are free days. We recommend going into the city of Rome and exploring what it has to offer.
Villa Clodia is a stunning historic venue from the late 1800s, nestled in the charming countryside just north of Rome. The property offers breathtaking views of Lake Bracciano and the iconic Orsini-Odescalchi Castle. The little town of Manziana where we will be staying offers some local small town charms for anyone wanting to explore. Within minutes, you can reach the Manziana forest, the Canale Monterano nature reserve, and Lake Bracciano. The thermal baths are 6 km away, and the sea is just a 20-minute drive. The city of Rome is an hour drive for anyone wanting to explore the eternal city.
