So- there's no ceremony?

Answer

Nope! We wanted to get married in a more intimate setting with just our immediate family, which will happen on Friday afternoon. Saturday will be a fun-filled reception with our family and friends playing cornhole and jenga, eating great food, and enjoying the picturesque location!

Where should I stay?

Answer

We decided not to book blocks of rooms anywhere for a few reasons. Most importantly, we're not sure where you'd like to stay! The wedding will be held in Webster, NY which is about 20 minutes from downtown Rochester. If you'd like to stay near the reception, we recommend checking out a hotel in Webster. If you'd like to stay in Rochester, there are tons of hotels and airbnb locations downtown. If you're coming from out of town and looking for a place to stay, we'd be happy to help- just let us know!

Why are there random asian symbols popping up on your wedding website?

I don't know. I can't figure it out. Sometimes they're there, sometimes they aren't. If anyone can translate, I'd love to know what they say :)

How do I get to White House Lodge?

Answer

For those of you coming from the East of Webster Park, take the Holt Road exit, turn right (North), then take Holt Road all the way to the end. Most everyone else will probably be driving in from South and West. Take 590 North to Rt. 104 East and drive less than 2 miles to the Bay Road exit. Turn right (North) at the off-ramp and drive another 2 miles to the end, which is Lake Road. Turn right on Lake and drive for exactly 4 more miles, where you'll find the Lodge on your left.

Where should I park?

We REALLY hope you decide to carpool, or better yet- uber! Please don't drink and drive! For those of you who are driving, there are two huge parking lots around the Lodge. One is across the street, diagonally Southeast from the Lodge. The other is just West of Lodge (left, if you're facing it.) This is actually pretty cool, because the scenery is really wonderful here. Just cross the bridge over a small creek and climb a stone stairway that takes you up the cliff and right up to the Lodge.
