Yes! We got married at SF City Hall back in November 2025. They had very strict capacity requirements, so we only invited our parents. We still haven't had the opportunity to formally celebrate with our friends and family, so we're excited to be able to host this Wedding Banquet with you!
Jacqueline and Jeff's love story can be seen as a classic tale of friends-turned-lovers, but there was a chance they would have never ended up together at all. Jeff and Jacqueline were first brought together through volunteering in Key Club. Both had leadership roles to serve the California-Nevada-Hawaii district. After high school, they spent more time getting to know one another and developed their friendship. They'd share their hopes and wishes for college... colleges neither of them shared. Jeff was off to Cornell, and Jacqueline to U.C. Berkeley. As college began, phone calls continued. The two would check in on one another's progress and experience there. During this time, they often would lean on each other when the reality of college life didn't quite match their expectations. Sure, maybe there were a few times when Jeff caught feelings for Jacqueline, but they were over 3,000 miles apart, so it never quite felt like anything to act upon. As for Jacqueline? She was too busy caring about more superficial things to even consider Jeff romantically. However, the two relished their time together as friends. They both dated other people, and their story could have ended there. However, after graduation, COVID took over the world. Jeff moved out of his cramped NYC apartment to live with his parents in NorCal and Jacqueline lived with hers in SoCal. The two continued to chat and have video calls during this odd time. While watching Netflix, Jacqueline learned that some matchmakers only try to pair you with people who fulfill 60% of your wish list in a partner. When she did some mental mapping of her own list and people she knew, she thought, "Hey, Jeff fulfills way more than 60%!" Then, the fate of Jeff and Jacqueline's relationship depended on Jeff's response to a text he received from her on September 17, 2020. "So...What if we dated?"
For sweets, we love craft chocolate! Some of our favorite brands include Manoa, GoodNow Farms, and Castronovo. For salty, Jacqueline prefers Hot Cheetos with Limón, and Jeff likes spicy peanuts.
