Are y'all still having a party in June?

Answer

Nope. 2020 turned out to not be a great year for this kind of thing. :/

Why weren't we invited to your wedding?

Answer

Eeee! Originally no one was going to be there except for us and a photographer! If you missed our virtual ceremony that happened in lieu of our private elopement in Iceland, please know that we are deeply sorry to have missed you and that we planned that entire thing in less than 24 hours. That was a crazy time and a crazy place, and we know so much more about video conferencing now.

Why are there so few things on your registry?

Answer

We live in less than 800 sq. ft. and will do so for quite some more time. We are both in our thirties and have the things we need. How cool is it that you can list experiences on wedding registries now! Please feel free to get creative, but more than anything, your presence with us in our lives is the greatest gift of all.

Are you taking each other's names?

Answer

Legally, we are both keeping our last names as they are now. But feel free to send us mail to any kind of hyphenated or combined variation.

Are you planning other things for your wedding weekend?

Answer

Yes. Right now plans don't count for much. Sit tight.

Should I worry about parking if I visit you in Oakland when it's safe to travel again?

Answer

There is plenty of parking at Joaquin Miller Park if we host a party there (TBD). Family coming into town, we DO recommend getting accommodations that include a parking spot if you will be renting/bringing a car.

What should we wear to your party when you have it?

Answer

Who doesn't love a good costume party? Please dress it up however you feel most comfortable. We'll let you know if we will be on grass/dirt in case you don't want to wear heels. Also if we celebrate in Oakland, bring layers! It gets cold here, pretty much everyday!

Can I bring a +1 to your party when you have it?

Answer

TBD depending on our venue. We may need to limit our guest count due to fire/police permitting. If you see a +1 on your next invitation, then please feel free to bring a bud! Otherwise, everyone who's name appears on the invite is welcome, but please don't bring extras. Thank you thank you!
