Our Story
Despite both working at Boeing and having many mutual friends, we did not meet until a Halloween party in 2019 where Jeff was a man-cheetah and Dian was an astronaut. We had a quick conversation which Dian quickly forgot about but Jeff was infatuated.
Over the next few months we said hello in the hallways but nothing more. With the world shut down due to Covid, Jeff decided to finally shoot his shot and slide into Dian's work DMs. This escalated into online work chats, coffee breaks, and finally meeting up for dinner in Hermosa during the 2 weeks in the summer of 2020 that the world opened back up.
Both of us sat nervously having drinks at the Poop Deck unsure if this was a date or not. Thankfully, someone came up and said our first date would be better with Jell-O shots. We both agreed and the rest is history.
After 3 years of dating and many travels, laughs, and snacks later, Jeff finally proposed to Dian at Mt. Ranier in October 2023.
