Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be starting promptly at 4:30pm on the lawn of the Inn at Millrace Pond. Please plan to arrive between 4-4:15pm to make time to get settled. *Please note that it's likely there will be traffic on routes 80, 280, 78, and 206. Please be sure to provide ample time to get to the venue by 4:30pm. We will have lawn games and refreshments before the ceremony so if you find yourself there early, no worries! If you are staying at the Holiday Inn, we will provide shuttle transportation before and after the event. The shuttle will depart the Holiday Inn at 3:45pm and will head back for the night at 11:40pm.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please come in your nicest tux or ballroom gown! Just kidding, don't do that. We're recommending dressy-casual or cocktail attire. Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be partially indoors and outdoors, so please dress comfortably and sensibly for the weather. Please be wary of wearing stilettos or anything else that might make walking in the grass uncomfortable. Bring a shawl, cover up, wrap, jacket, etc. in the event it gets chilly at night!

I know I'll have too much fun to go home after the reception. Is there an after party?

Answer

Funny you should ask, yes there is! Immediately following the reception under the tent, we'll head over to Fireside Tavern (on premises!) for a cash-only bar until about 11:30pm. If you're still looking for more, we'll head back outside to the lawn where we'll have a fire pit going, some lawn games, and S'mores. We'll see you there!

We want to stay overnight! Do you have any rooms blocked?

Answer

Yes! We have blocked rooms at the Inn for our family and friends but due to the limited number of rooms on site, we've blocked some rooms at the nearby Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Mt. Arlington, NJ. Please contact Jess or Jeff if you wish to stay or have any questions.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the limited space at the Inn and in order to keep our guest list on track, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions!

What about my kids? Can they come?

Answer

We LOVE your kids, however, we've decided to make this an adults-only celebration. We hope you'll understand!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please do! You may email Ali at ali.mccabe10 [at] gmail.com with any special dietary requests. Please note that we will have a predominately gluten free menu, with some exceptions. If you have other food intolerances or allergies, let us know as soon as you can so that we can make sure to accommodate your needs.
