Things to do outside of the resort

Chichén-Itzá

Book a day trip to the ancient Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza. Chichen itza was one of the largest Mayan cities and it was likely to have been one of the mythical great cities, or Tollans, referred to in later Mesoamerican literature. Explore the Temple of Kukulcan (pyramid) and The Great Ball Court. If you have time, book a tour that also stops at a Cenote. You won’t regret it! Located approx. 2.5 hours from the resort, this is a trip you do not want to miss. This was our favorite place to visit from our last trip!
