We're Getting Married

In the digital age, where love often blossoms through screens, Jeff and Tanner's story began with a simple online connection. They decided to meet in person, choosing a lovely Mexican bar for their first date. The night was filled with laughter and deep conversations, hours slipping away unnoticed. During their date, Jeff nonchalantly mentioned he was going to the bathroom and then getting another drink. He told Tanner she could get one if she wanted or not; he didn’t care. Tanner didn’t hear anything after Jeff said he was going to the bathroom, because she was worried he might not come back. Thankfully he did, and their connection only continued to grow. Jeff's less-than-stellar texting habits made the early days of their relationship a bit rocky. Days would pass without a word, leaving Tanner in a state of uncertainty. Despite this, they managed to hang out a few more times, solidifying their bond before Tanner’s vacation. While away, Jeff proudly told everyone he had a girlfriend, even as Tanner continued to refer to him as just a friend. Heading back to Ontario for Christmas, Tanner decided to FaceTime Jeff; despite his aversion to FaceTime, he answered. In that moment, seeing his face on her screen, Tanner knew she was in love. Their relationship took off from there, moving quickly from spending every weekend together to making the big decision to move in together. March 26, 2024, Jeff got down on one knee, asking Tanner to spend the rest of her life with him. Without hesitation, she said yes.
