Dublin Airport - Belfast and/or Londonderry Bus

For those who don't want to rent a car, but would like to arrive into Dublin airport, please consider using this link to explore Bus/Train options between the two areas. A quick search showed a 3 hour 35 min bus ride from the airport into the Londonderry bus station. We should have enough people on hand with rental cars to pick up from bus/train stations in the area, so just let us know!

Downhill Beachhouse

We have reserved the entire house for the duration of our stay. The rooms are available from August 31st to September 5th. We will update everyone with more details as we approach the big day.

Flight

It may take a bit of looking around, but we are consistently finding flights from Michigan & New York into Dublin & London/Belfast for ~$700.00. Please reach out to us if you want help finding lower rates than you are, and we will do our best to point you in the direction of a flight that would work!

Belfast International Airport

This airport is 50 miles and about 1 hour drive from the Downhill Beachhouse. We would not advise searching for flights directly into this airport, as they will be very costly. From our research so far, it would be best to fly into London and then use one of the many European budget airlines to get a quick connecting flight into Belfast. If you don't want to or are unable to rent a car to get from the airport to the Beachhouse, please let us know so we can help arrange something that will work for you!

Dublin Airport

This airport is 140 miles and a 2.5-3 hour drive from the Downhill Beachhouse. Flying into Dublin may be a more cost effective option for many guests, regardless of departure location. If you are flying from the west side of Michigan, it is likely that Chicago - Dublin flights will be your best option by far as both airports are Aer Lingus hubs and have frequent/fairly inexpensive flights. If you want to fly into Dublin but don't want to rent a car, please let us know and we will work to get you a ride from the airport/city up to Castlerock with us or another guest!
