Maya and Jahti met on Jahti’s birthday when their mother, Annie, placed Jahti in Maya’s 20 month-old arms and told her to look after him because “this is your baby.” Always stoic, Maya has taken this role too seriously her whole life and as a result has been an amazing big sister, if she may say so herself. Jahti has always been an amazing emotional support and cheerleader for Maya when she needed him most, and she is so excited to have him at the altar with her as she takes this next important step.
