Jeff and Maya met on June 19, 2012 in Lula, GA at a mutual friend’s birthday party when Maya was 20 and Jeff was 22. Jeff showed up swimming out to the dock with a case of beer on his shoulder and Maya had her characteristic scowl on. Despite a seeming mismatch, they bonded over a Clash CD Jeff had in his truck and have been inseparable ever since. What started as a casual summer fling first blossomed into a long-distance relationship while Maya finished her final year at Harvard and then into a forever relationship when Maya moved home. Since then, Maya and Jeff have traveled across the US and to Israel sharing their love of history, antiques, the outdoors, and exploration. While Jeff finished his degree, they bought their first house in Sandy Springs, and each developed careers in the firearms industry and real estate. Their most recent adventure has taken them to Chapel Hill, NC where Maya is getting her MBA and Jeff has started his new career in Information Security. After Maya graduates from her MBA, she will be pursuing a career in consulting with McKinsey while Jeff will be continuing his IT career, both back in their hometown of Atlanta. In the last year, Bobo the black lab has joined the family. Maya, Jeff, and Bobo are so excited to welcome you to Atlanta and share this wonderful day with all of their favorite people!
