Getting to Asheville

There are a number of options for getting to Asheville. For those of you coming from the Southeast, driving may be the easiest option. For others traveling from farther away, we've provided information on flying into area airports here. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at any point!

Staying in Asheville

Asheville has a ton of accommodation options, but for your convenience a block of rooms has been reserved at the Hampton Inn on Tunnel Rd. Details on making reservations at the group rate—as well as information on a few other lodging options—are listed below.

Flight

AVL (Asheville Regional Airport)

The most convenient airport - located about 17 miles from Downtown Asheville and 22 miles from the wedding venue with several flights coming in every day from many cities in the eastern US. Bus S3 (Southern Route 3) will take you to the city center in about 45 minutes - check Google Maps for info and times. Rental cars, taxis, and ride-sharing services (Uber & Lyft) are also available at the airport.

Flight

Greenville, SC / Knoxville, TN / Charlotte, NC Airports

Flights will often be slightly cheaper into one of these three alternative airports. Greenville, SC (GSP) is the closest to Asheville, about a 1-1.5 hour drive, while Charlotte (CLT) and Knoxville (TYS) are both about 2 hours away. http://www.ashevilleshuttle.com offers transportation between Greenville and Charlotte airports and the Asheville airport. Please let us know if you're flying into one of these airports and would be interested in booking a shuttle with other wedding guests arriving at a similar time - we can try to match you up to save money on the shuttle if everyone is comfortable sharing. Shuttle cars seat up to 5 people and leave at several set times throughout the day. Rental cars may be another option for those who prefer it.

Hotel

Hampton Inn Asheville-Tunnel Rd.

The link has been updated to book for the new wedding date in June 2021! You can adjust the date range from that site as needed, but you can book any nights between Friday 6/25 and Tuesday 6/29. The Hampton Inn is located 15 minutes from the venue and about 2 miles from downtown. Other Hotels & Airbnb's

There are plenty of other hotels in the area that can be reserved separately as well as many cute (and sometimes cheaper) housing options on Airbnb that can be rented in small or large groups! Feel free to choose something closer to downtown or to the venue (about 15 minutes from downtown) depending on your preference!
