What's with the Registry?

Answer

We understand that asking you to come to New Orleans for our wedding is a significant expense, and we truly appreciate it. Because of this, we are foregoing a traditional registry. Your presence is your gift. If you absolutely MUST get us a gift, please join us on one of our activities like the swamp tour or ghost tour!

What is a Second Line Parade?

Answer

🎺 A Second Line parade is a traditional New Orleans celebration featuring a brass band leading a lively procession of dancing and waving handkerchiefs or umbrellas. The "First Line" is the main group (like the bride and groom), and the "Second Line" is everyone joining in to celebrate! It’s all about music, movement, and pure joy—so get ready to dance with us! 🎶🎉

Since its Easter weekend, should I book travel early?

Answer

Yes! Flights might sell out, so we encourage you to book ASAP. We have a room block at Hotel Provincial for 4/2/26 - 4/6/26 but if you want to stay at an alternate hotel then you might want to consider booking early.

What is the weather like in April?

Answer

Typically warm (70s-80s°F) with some humidity. Light, breathable fabrics are a good idea!

Is there an after party?

Answer

Jeff and Kate will be walking to the Historic Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop Bar after the wedding and then perhaps to Cafe Du Monde for late night beignets!
