The Gay Easter Parade is a beloved tradition that brings joy, style, and a whole lot of fabulousness to the heart of the French Quarter. The parade begins at the Armstrong Arch on St. Ann Street, rolls down Bourbon, crosses Esplanade, turns up Royal, swings onto St. Louis, and finishes on Burgundy at Betty’s. Expect plenty of beads, feathers, and unforgettable fashion along the way. Before the parade, head over to Good Friends Bar from 12 PM to 3 PM for the Easter Bonnet Contest. Held at the corner of Dauphine and St. Ann, this neighborhood favorite invites everyone to join in—just bring your most eye-catching, over-the-top bonnet! The entries range from the wildly creative to the hilariously extravagant, and the crowd gets to vote for the winners. Prizes are awarded for the biggest, funniest, most detailed, and best overall bonnets.
