God works out our future in ways that are even better than we could have hoped. Fittingly, we met at church! Many years ago, Kara claimed that she would “never live in Saint John”… her attitude changed quickly in 2014 when she accepted a teaching job at Harry Miller Middle School and started attending Rivercross Church. Jeff moved away from Saint John in 2001 and spent a number of years in Moncton waiting for the perfect time to move back. After a much longer than anticipated stay in Moncton, he eventually transitioned back to his hometown, and it was then that Kara and Jeff’s story began. These two lovebirds met at Rivercross choir practice a number of years before they started dating. They established a friendship, eventually shared a coffee together at Starbucks, then some Thai food at Splash ... and the rest is history! As their relationship blossomed, they bonded over their common interests in travel, red wine, music, warm weather, and any dessert that combines chocolate and peanut butter. Over the years, their love has only grown stronger and more full of adventure as they have come to recognize how perfectly their differences compliment each other. As the singer-songwriter, Jack Johnson, would say, “It’s always better when we’re together.” We can’t wait to celebrate our beginning with you!
