FAQs

Question

What Do I Wear?

Answer

The ceremony & reception are black-tie optional, which is a fusion between black-tie and formal. This includes tuxes or dark suits for men and floor-length gowns or pantsuits for women.

Question

How Do I Get To The Events?

Answer

A shuttle will pick up all guests from the hotels at 4:15 and transport them to the church, the reception and back to the hotels at the end of the night. If you are not staying at the hotel block, you are more than welcome to still use this transportation.

Question

What Happens After The Ceremony?

Answer

The reception immediately follows the ceremony. All guests are welcome to use the transportation provided and will board upon leaving the church.

Question

Will the ceremony or reception be outdoors?

Answer

After living in Texas for 10 years, we love our A/C. Both events are indoors. There is a private outdoor courtyard at the reception that is paved.

Question

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Not unless you want to! Hotels were chosen based on walkability to attractions and distance to each event. We suggest using rideshare or the train to get into the city from the airport. All transportation will be provided the day of the wedding.

Question

If I'm driving, where do I park?

Answer

The hotel has valet parking on-site for $76 per night. The closest parking garage is the Theatre District Self-Park located at 181 N. Dearborn for $54 per night but does not allow for in-and-out privileges. (Local Tip) We recommend downloading the Spot Hero App as they typically have severely discounted options for parking downtown and around the city.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love all kids (human and furry), these events are adult only.

Question

Do You Have A Hotel Block?

Answer

Yes, check out the travel page for all the details.

Question

Where Should I Eat?

Answer

Head over to our "Things To Do" page to find all of our favorite local spots! We strongly recommend making reservations prior to your trip as walk-in eating is challenging on the weekends.
