We've literally seen hundreds of shows together, but this historic DC club is our very favorite place to see live music.
This is the home of our beloved Nationals baseball team. Hopefully they'll be playing baseball in October and you'll have a chance to catch a game! Jina works in the Capitol Riverfront neighborhood around Nationals Park. There are tons of great local restaurants, shops, and bars in the area.
You probably can't handle the spice. But if you can, this is the best spot in town for fried chicken and beer. Bonus: it's near Nationals Park.
Eastern Market is DC’s destination for fresh food, community events, and on weekends, local farm-fresh produce and handmade arts and crafts. Get here early on weekend mornings and wait in line at Market Lunch for their Blueberry Buckwheat (Blue-Buck) Pancakes. They're worth the wait!
Our go-to place for pho. Bonus - they open at 10 AM so you can get to work on that hangover early 😬
This is one of DC's best restaurants and one of our favorite places to bring guests. They don't take reservations, so get in line!
The National Museum of African American History and Culture is the newest Smithsonian, and one of our favorites in the city. If you plan on visiting, be sure to reserve the free tickets in advance.
This is our favorite little grungy dive bar. When Jeff can't find Jina, he knows to look here first. Come here to find sticky floors, bras on the rafters, and really great people! They have THE BEST mozzarella sticks.
