Rolling In Thyme & Dough
Enjoy this little cafe - you can either eat inside, sit outside on the patio, or eat among the flowers! The wait for your meal is a bit lengthy as everything is made fresh, but you can explore the gardens outside in the meantime. And, the coffee is delicious!
Hamilton Pool Preserve
A scenic natural swimming pool in a canyon below a 50-ft waterfall surrounded by a grotto! There are plenty of surrounding hiking trails to enjoy too. Reservations are recommended.
Salt Lick BBQ
When you visit Texas - BBQ is a must! Enjoy a delicious feast with live music! Please know that Salt Lick is cash only but there is an ATM on-site. While you are there, check out the Salt Lick Cellars to enjoy some wine tastings!
Pedernales Falls State Park
Flowing over and around huge slabs of limestone, the Pedernales River can be turbulent. But most often it is tranquil, and a great place to relax and recharge. You can swim, tube, fish, hike, or enjoy a picnic.

If you like tequila then Desert Door is the place for you! Desert Door sotol is a uniquely Texas spirit that gives you a sensation of West Texas in every sip. Enjoy a tour of the distillery or just sip on some of their cocktails at the bar.
