Charlottesville is famous for its beautiful vineyards. Some of our favorites are Pippin Hill Farm, King's Family Vineyards, Trump Winery, Jefferson Vineyards, and The Vineyard at Mount Ida (located on the same reserve as our venue).
If you're looking for an adorable, city vibe with tons of restaurant and shopping options, downtown is the place for you! Whether you want to grab some caffeine in the morning (Caroline recommends Grit Coffee) or get some delicious sushi for dinner at Bang!, you won't be disappointed!
Wine slushies, apple cider donuts, Bold Rock hard cider- you name it! Carter Mountain Orchard is one of our favorite places to go in Charlottesville especially in the fall. You can pick all of the fruit your heart desires and enjoy some delicious food and drinks while you're at it!
Come see Jeff's old stomping grounds while you're in town! The University of Virginia is one of the most beautiful college campuses in the entire country. Take a nice stroll on the Lawn and check out the gorgeous Rotunda building!
In the mood for some food, drinks and shopping but don't want to dress up to go downtown? The Corner is the perfect place to relax, grab a casual bite and see some UVA students in action. UVA's classic bars are all on this strip as well- we would recommend Boylan, Coupe's, and Trinity (maybe at the end of the night). Caroline's favorite brunch place, FIG is also on the Corner, as well as a bomb smoothie place called Corner Juice, our favorite bagels at Bodo's, and Jeff's favorite meal for when he's cutting, Roots.
