Caroline and Jeff met in Spanish 4 class during their junior year of high school. Caroline clearly excelled at Spanish, so she and Jeff quickly became friends as he tried to keep her from failing. After staying in the friend zone for a couple of years, Jeff finally made a move during their senior year, and they started seriously dating shortly before going off to different colleges! Over the past six years they have graduated high school together, survived four years of long distance, taken countless trips between Virginia and South Carolina, and moved to Savannah, GA together when COVID hit and Caroline was in PA school. They are super excited to be together in New York City where they both have new jobs, and plan their dream wedding.

Even from the beginning, Caroline and Jeff knew they were soulmates and wanted to spend forever together. Caroline became suspicious when Jeff planned an elaborate trip to NYC during one of her breaks, and all of their friends from home happened to be coming as well. One night, Jeff told Caroline to get dressed up and be ready for the Uber he scheduled at 5:30 (he had literally never scheduled an Uber in his life before). He told Caroline they were going to tour their friend Morgan's apartment, as they were looking for an apartment for when they move there. They got to the building, went up to Morgan's apartment and talked for awhile. Morgan suggested going up to the rooftop for a glass of wine but conveniently "forgot" a wine opener. She told Caroline and Jeff to go up without her, and to Caroline's surprise, when the elevator doors opened she saw a figure quickly dart out of the way holding 2 cameras. She immediately knew what was happening and the waterworks started. Jeff had planned the entire thing perfectly, with gorgeous flowers, Anthropologie candles, expensive champagne, a single rose, and the ring of Caroline's dreams! They celebrated with an elaborate wine and pasta tasting and then stayed in the Central Park Ritz Carlton, where they slept under the same roof as Kim Kardashian. They spent the next day celebrating Jeff's 25th birthday and talking about the official rest of their lives together!
