DRIVE + FERRY FROM ANACORTES WA State Ferries operates the Anacortes-San Juan route. There is a reservation system for cars only. Walk-on passengers don’t require reservations. Reservations recommended to guarantee sailing time. Fare is paid on-site at the toll booth. Cars w/ reservations must be through the toll booth >30 min prior to departure or you lose your reservation and will be standby.

Use taxis or rent a car to get around Friday Harbor.
