Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off (so you can be in full force on the dance floor)!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Black-tie optional/semi-formal. (And not "Seattle" black-tie (aka jeans and a button-down). Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. That said, we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, feel free to let it all hang loose (especially as the night progresses!). And, ladies may want to bring a shawl or scarf in case the temperatures drop later in the evening. Also - we are on a farm, so be wary of stilettos ladies -- I recommend a wider heel.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is slated to start at 5:30PM. Please plan to arrive between 4:30PM-5:15PM. Refreshments will be available, so feel free to come early.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Shuttles between town and the venue will be provided by San Juan Transit Charters. Shuttles to the venue will run from 4:15PM - 5:15PM and return shuttles will run from 10:00PM to 12:00AM. The shuttle will pick up at 1) Friday Harbor House, 2) Earthbox Inn, 3) Argyle House, and 4) Friday Harbor Suites. Shuttle will drop off at those same locations, or to requested destinations within reach. Parking is available on site. Please don't drink and drive.
