The Yard

Great place for just walking and shopping. Some of our favorite eateries on South Congress are South Congress Cafe, Enoteca Vespaio, and Amy's.

Great patio bar if the weather is nice, dog friendly, and kid friendly during certain hours.

Moontower Saloon

Trail that goes around Town Lake and through Zilker Park. Really nice walk or jog depending on the weather!

Lady Bird Lake Trail

Great seafood and Thai food! Locally owned and run.

Deckhand Oyster Bar

Staple Mexican restaurant in South Austin. Can be busy at peak hours, but food is solid. Tortillas are made fresh right in the front of the store!
