Welcome Party: The attire for our welcome party is semi-casual, as this will be a laid-back event where everyone can relax and catch up before the wedding on Saturday. However, please keep in mind that some guests will be coming directly from the rehearsal and may be dressed a bit more formally. Wedding: We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as a cocktail or full length dress for women and a suit and tie for men.
We're thrilled to celebrate our special day with you! However, only guests who are specifically listed on the invitation are invited. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to an unforgettable night together!
We love your little ones, but in order to create a more intimate atmosphere, we kindly ask that our wedding be an adult-only event.
Transportation will not be provided for our wedding, but Ubers are readily available in Wilmington and can take you wherever you need to go after the celebration. You can also schedule a pick-up time in advance to ensure timely arrival and departure. For those who prefer not to enjoy the open bar, there will be onsite parking available at the venue.
Both our ceremony and reception will be held outdoors with the reception being under a tent.
Although the ceremony starts at 5:00 pm, we ask that guests arrive 15-30 minutes before the official ceremony start time so you can get settled and enjoy music before the proceedings. Sycamore Bend Estate spans 12 beautiful acres with plenty to explore, so arrive early to take in the scenic views before finding your seat!
