Olivier and I met at Engineering School in 2006. Loving to travel like me, Oliv went to Madagascar while I was in Cambodia and spent a year in San Francisco while I was in Melbourne. We shared a flat together for 3 years and hosted memorable parties! / Nous nous sommes rencontrés en école d'ingénieur en 2004. Oliver est tout autant amateur de voyages que moi: il était à Madagasgar quand j'étais au Cambodge et à San Francisco quand j'étais à Melbourne. Nous avons été co-locataires pendant 3 ans durant lesquels l'appartement a vu de nombreuses soirées!
Ken Ilacqua

Ken and I met in 2011 in Paris though Alex. We started as party buddies but gradually started to play guitar together (in a short-lived band called "the FIBL" whose only hit was a 3 Doors Down Cover), to go on ski or hiking week-ends, eventually spending exotic holidays together in Uzbekistan last year. We now live in the same area in Paris and (try to) run together every week-end. / J'ai rencontré Ken en 2011 par l'intermédiaire d'Alex, d'abord en soirées, puis nous avons commencé à jouer de la guitare ensemble (dans un groupe éphémère baptisé "FIBL" dont le seul tube fut une reprise de 3 Doors Down), puis à partir skier ou randonner, culminant par des vacances exceptionnelles en Ouzbékistan l'an dernier. Nous visons désormais dans le même quartier et courrons ensemble régulièrement.

Olivier and I met in 2004 in prep school in Paris. We were both not from Paris which made it easier to connect in the first place. We joined the same Engineering school and shared our bathroom for a year. We spend the summer 2007 together working for an NGO in Cambodia, an unforgettable experience. After Oliver moved to New France, we managed to keep in touch regularly! / Nous nous sommes rencontrés en Prépa, le fait que nous soyons tout deux non parisiens facilitant le contact. Nous avons intégré la même école d'ingénieurs, ou nous avons été co-douches. Nous avons passé l'été 2007 à travailler pour une ONG au Cambodge, une expérience exceptionnelle. Oliver vit désormais en Nouvelle France mais nous réussissons néanmoins à nous voir régulièrement!

I met, Alex, another founding member or our revolutionary 4-guitars rock band, in Engineering school in 2006, and we spent quite some of our two years there working on the integration events for new students. After I came back from Australia, Alex was one of the ones who went to spend a week-end in Ibiza to celebrate when I got my first long-term job. When spent 2 fantastic weeks visiting India together in 2012. Alex since moved to London for work but we still manage to catch up very often! / J'ai rencontré Alex (un autre membre fondateur de FIBL) en école d'ingénieur en 2006, ou nous avons "travaillé" dans la meme association. Nous avons passé 2 semaines de vacances ensemble en Inde en 2012. Alex vit maintenant à Londres mais grâce à l'Eurostar nous pouvons toujours nous voir souvent!

Matthieu was one of my first friend to get married and I was honored to be one of his best man. However I have not been chosen best men ever since, and he will probably tell you why. We meet in Engineering School in 2006, and we spent summer 2007 in Cambodia working for an ONG, after which we traveled together through south-east Asia. Matthieu spent some time in Madrid for work and I have the chance to visit him often, including for the Madrid half-marathon where we both scored our best performance ever. / Matthieu est le premier de mes amis proche a s'être marrié et m'a fait l'honneur de m'avoir choici comme témoin. Matthieu faisait également partie de l'équipe Cambodgienne en 2007. Il a vécu à Madrid où j'ai pu lui rendre visite plusieurs fois, jusqu'à y courir un semi-marathon ensemble!
