Groom
His top three qualities? His good looks, his charm, his modesty, and his ability to count.
Bride
Her top three qualities? Her ability to look at a plant and name it, telling worse jokes than Brent, and fitting into really small spaces.
Best Man
Brent and Jason met while working together in Brookings in 2010. They shared a love of sports, kayaking, and dark humor. Their friendship has continued to grow as they became roommates, co-workers again, and trusted confidants throughout their adulthood.
Best Woman
Jeannie and Emily were roommates while they both worked at Wal-Mart back in the early 2010s. They became fast friends and stayed in touch as Emily moved, finished graduate school, and got married to her wonderful husband Richard.
Bridesman
Brent and Jeannie met Richard through Emily before they became Mr. and Mrs. Short. Bonding through food and games, both video and tabletop, Richard became a very good friend in a...short...amount of time. Richard is a fantastic cook and a wonderful host at parties.
Groomswoman
Brent and Laurel met while working together with Jason in 2010. As Laurel and Jason's relationship continued to grow, Brent kept in close contact with them, throughout their courtship, marriage, and the welcoming of their two beautiful children who thankfully take after their mother more than their father.
