Where is Cassina Point Plantation?

Answer

IF USING GOOGLE MAPS BE SURE TO SEARCH FOR THE ACTUAL ADDRESS! If you search for the name “Cassina Point Plantation” it will take you to another location 15 minutes away. If you put in “1847 Olde Cassina Point” it will take you just beyond the entrance, but there will be signs you can follow at that point. There will be “Lumpkin/Horner Wedding” signs showing the way from Hwy 174 to Cassina Point Plantation.

Where would you recommend to eat out?

Answer

Sea cow has a great breakfast! Then for lunch - either Sea Cow, McConkey's Jungle Shack or Ella and Ollie's has a great taco spot for lunch in Wyndham! The Old Post Office is a nice option for fine dining.

Is King's Market worth the stop?

Answer

Yes! King's Market is a local roadside market on Hwy 174 on the right, 4 miles after the big Dawhoo Bridge. They have fresh produce, prepared casseroles, delicious dips and yummy desserts.

Are there available grocery stores, pharmacy, etc on the island?

Answer

Edisto has one grocery store - Bi Lo. The store is usually well stocked and has a surprisingly good beer and wine selection. Liquor store is next door. There IS NOT a pharmacy on the island. The closest CVS is about 30 minutes away in Ravenel.

Answer

Yes! There is a liquor store - Sea Spirits Liquor in same shopping center as the Bi Lo.

Are Uber’s available on Edisto?

Answer

**NO, UBER WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE ON EDISTO.** We will have bus transportation from Wyndam to Cassina Point and returning after the reception back to Wyndam. Do not plan on taking an Uber from Edisto to the Charleston airport or you will have an extended vacation.

May we bring our children to wedding events?

Answer

Although we do love your kiddos, no children are invited to any wedding events EXCEPT THE FAREWELL BRUNCH. We would love to see them Sunday morning!!
