Book Exchange

Welcome Center Leave a book, take a book. After you arrive, drop off your book at the book exchange table in the Welcome Center. Stop back throughout the weekend to peruse for new reading suggestions and to take a book (or a few) home with you.

Toys, Puzzles & Board Games

7:00 am to 11:00 pm Bluebill Cove, Learning Studios Board games and puzzles will be available throughout the weekend. There will also be a small selection of toys for the kiddos (or the young at heart) including blocks, duplos and a juggling station.

Kids Craft Time

7:00 am to 10:00 pm Art Studio Stop by for some arts and crafts with your kids. Supplies will be provided. .

Welcome Dinner

6:00 pm bar opens 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm dinner Dining Hall Once you've arrived and settled in, make your way over to join us for a delicious Indian dinner. No need to arrive at a specific time, food service will continue throughout this window.

Friendship Circle & Campfire

8:00 pm to 10:00 pm Friendship Circle Relax and unwind, make a s'more, and enjoy some mulled wine around the campfire. The Friendship Circle is covered but outdoors, so be sure to bring your warm layers! .

6:30 am to 8:00 am Dining Hall Still on east coast time, or just up early? Stop by the dining hall for coffee, tea, fruit and pastries before full breakfast begins.

Yoga with Elena Papina

8:00 am to 9:00 am Great Hall Start your day with a mindful yoga class led by Jeanette's aunt, Elena Papina, founder of ‘NYogaFitness, and a team member at Bright Bear Yoga. Yoga mats will be provided.

Breakfast

8:00 am to 10:00 am Dining Hall Drop in for a hot breakfast at a time that's convenient for you.

IslandWood Guided Hikes

10:00 am to 11:30 am Meet at Welcome Center While you're welcome to explore the campus from dawn to dusk, you're also invited to take advantage of one of the following two guided hikes facilitated by IslandWood. Bird Habitat Hike "Discover the birds of the Pacific Northwest while exploring our wetland habitats. Get a unique perspective of seasonal birding hotspots via our bird blind and treehouses. Visit a cattail marsh and pond to search for wood ducks, buffleheads, kingfishers, and birds of prey like hawks, eagles, and osprey." Canopy Tower Hike "Take a vigorous hike down to the ravine, cross the suspension bridge, and ascend our 120ft canopy tower to get a new perspective on your surroundings. This is one of our most active programs and great for groups that want to challenge themselves."

Lunch, Crosswords with Friends & the National Park Challenge

12:00 pm to 1:30 pm Dining Hall Enjoy a relaxed lunch and time to catch up with friends and family. If crosswords are your thing, grab a few puzzles to solve together. Or join us in seeing if we've collectively visited all of the national parks - pick out a coloring page of a national park you've visited & share your work of art in the joint display.

Ceremony

4:30 pm to 5:00 pm Creaky Tree Meadow Weather allowing, our marriage ceremony will take place outside. Be sure to dress accordingly - it can be chilly in the PNW in October.

Cocktail Hour

5:00 pm to 6:00 pm Dining Hall Meadow
